The reason some people take drugs and some do not is easy enough. Some want to be of this world and some do not. For some being here is comfortable enough. For some 'comfortable' does not come into play. The interesting question is not why they take drugs, it is: what are the drugs for? And if you think you don't know any such people, I think you do.
